Thank you for using the Maasai Heritage Language & Culture Platform ("Platform"). These Terms of Service regulate your access to and use of our web portal, applications, virtual lessons, and administrative modules.
By creating an account, processing premium subscriptions, or engaging with our learning curriculum, you accept the binding operational terms detailed below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By operating any digital services owned by the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to remain bound by these statutory agreements. If you object to any portion of these metrics, please discontinue asset operations immediately.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
Users must provide complete and truthful profile parameters during account deployment. You are solely accountable for preserving credentials confidentiality:
A. Identity Management
Accounts must belong to unique individuals. Shared deployment paths or institutional credentials pooling without corporate administrative licensing are forbidden.
B. Account Security Responsibility
Any computational breaches, modifications, or curriculum changes originating from your verification token are recognized as your explicit action.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All interactive dictionaries, terminology lists, audio assets, video scripts, custom CSS layers, code repositories, and brand insignia remain the unique property of the Platform:
- Limited Educational License: Users receive a non-transferable, revocable license to study cultural materials for personal, non-commercial use.
- Extraction Restrictions: Automated data scraping, bulk audio downloading, or unauthorized mirror deployment violates our intellectual protections.
4. Prohibited User Conduct
To ensure an inclusive environment that respects Maasai heritage, you agree not to execute the following actions:
- Distributing derogatory, hateful, or ethnically insensitive feedback within the forum nodes.
- Attempting malicious system probes, reverse engineering our Gradle scripts, or injecting payload variants into database forms.
- Using pronunciation capture matrices to store or re-host voice samples outside the localized workspace parameters.
5. Premium Billing & Refunds
| Subscription Tier | Billing Frequency | Refund Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Tier | Monthly Automated Renewal | 7-day validation window if zero lessons are tracked. |
| Premium / Corporate Tier | Annual Invoicing Paths | Subject to corporate licensing contract terms. |
Payments processed via APIs (such as mobile carrier wallets, card networks, or local settlement clearing networks) cannot be refunded after systemic course consumption benchmarks are passed.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Platform assets are delivered strictly on an "As-Is" and "As-Available" foundation. We provide no operational guarantees that instructional materials, audio translation tools, or network availability loops will remain error-free or completely undisrupted.
7. Account Termination Rules
We reserve the statutory right to freeze or permanently purge profiles that bypass verification protocols, violate conduct matrices, or present structural security liabilities to our platform nodes—without prior warning or fee-reimbursement liabilities.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These statutory alignments are governed by and construed according to the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any irreconcilable disputes regarding billing configurations or performance items must be presented first before local arbitration boards in Nairobi prior to moving to state court jurisdictions.
9. Modifications to Terms
Our administration refines these structural bindings as operational laws adapt. Continued interaction with the services following a date adjustment confirmation certifies your absolute consent to the latest configuration standards.
